iGEM is a student association that uses modelling and natural science etc, to create a product that can solve a local or global issue (medical, environmental, economical issue etc.). It gives the students the possibility to gain start-up experiences and every student is allowed to join the team regardless of their education as lonog as they bring the right motivation. In autumn the team goes to paris to present their product at a global jamboree (more than 7000 people from all over the world came last year) to the judges and competes with other teams for awards.
