The LiU-card is a personal card which is sometimes used to identify yourself as a student. Please note that the LiU-card is not a valid form of ID and needs to be paired with valid ID such as a passport for things such as exams.

LiU cards are given out at "Infocenter" in SH (student house) on the ground floor. 

Examples of where the LiU-card is used:

• Identification at exams (needs to be paried with valid ID)
• To access buildings, computer rooms, laboratories etc.
• "Coffee card" at Baljan (add money to your card and skip the queue afterwards by blipping the card by the register)
• Paying for printing, copying etc
• To borrow books at the campus libraries
• To use the campus bus (free for all students at LiU if you blip you LiU-card)
