Undergraduate level: must be 3rd grade or more, most of the lecture courses are taught in Japanese and Undergraduate level students are not allowed to take graduate level courses. (No exceptions.)

Everyone is required to Belong to a laboratory under a supervising professor.

Exchange students may take courses from the Faculty of Engineering, School of Engineering and the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology.

*Please note that students may NOT take courses at the Faculty of Economics, this includes the course in marketing.

Language(s) of instruction

Language requirement: Undergraduate - since most lecture courses in the undergraduate level are in Japanese, students should preferably show a JLPT level N1 certificate. Insurance

All international students must register at the municipal office and pay the insurance fees for National Health Insurance. The insurance will cover 70% of medical costs, while the student pays the remaining 30% to the health care provider.
