Course offerings/limitations

Exchange students may enroll in courses at all departments/schools in the Faculty/Graduate School of Engineering and the Graduate School of System Informatics. However, other faculties are generally not open to exchange students, the same for practical training or experimental courses. Courses at the School of Business Administration are also not open to engineering/technology students.

Undergraduate students can only take courses from undergraduate courses of other Faculties, and students of Master’s programme can only take courses from Master’s courses of other Graduates Schools.

Insurance

International students who reside in Japan must purchase National Health Insurance, which costs approx. JPY 20,000 per year.
