OBS! Please read the 'Regelverk för utlandsstudier' regarding minimum average grade you need to have to apply for this university (comment valid for application to LiTH).
Exchange students may take courses from the Graduate School of Science and Technology, which has three schools:
- School of Fundamental Science and Technology
- School of Integrated Design Engineering
- School of Science for Open and Environmental Systems
It may be possible to take courses from different schools, but prior permission has to be sought from each school and for each course.
Students are required to take more than 14 credits (7 courses) to meet the visa requirements.
“General courses” of Graduate School of Science and Technology and some other courses are not available for exchange students.

Insurance

Full-time international students who will be studying in Japan for more than three months must join the National Health Insurance system unless covered by the insurance plan of a family member who lives in Japan; overseas medical insurance is not accepted.
