All faculties other than School of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Graduate School of Medicine, and Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Science are open for exchange students at the undergraduate and graduate level if they fulfill the requirements. The Graduate School of Advanced Integration Science Program for Nano Imaging International Consortium Master’s Program, and the Expert Program in Asian Environmental Horticulture for Master’s Degree, offer courses taught in English which are open to exchange students.
It is possible to take courses from other schools, but prior consultation is necessary.
Please note that many courses are divided into two or more parts and take two or more semesters to complete. The Japanese academic year begins in April. Thus, students who begin their exchange in the fall semester would attend the second semester of a subject in the fall then wait until spring semester to take the first semester of a two-semester sequence.

Language(s) of instruction

Undergraduate participants of J-PAC program as well as students enrolling in Japanese Studies Program should have Japanese proficiency at the level of JLPT N2. Graduate exchange students should consult the language requirements of each graduate school.
