Course offerings/limitations

All programs are open for exchange students except courses from the in-service master's programs, ex EMBA. Students need to select one department/institute at NTHU where they plan to study the majority of courses at the time of nomination. If they need to take courses from other programs, this is possible as long as their host professor and the course instructor agree.

National Tsing Hua University is situated in the same city as National Chiao Tung University. Historically, students who have been admitted to one university may also take courses at the other university.

Insurance

International students who are staying for more than 4 months must purchase National Health Insurance, which costs TWD 749 per month.
