If you belong to ranking group 2 you are not able to apply to this exchange place.Hanyang University offers mostly 4-year undergraduate and 2-year graduate programmes.Both levels of study are open for incoming exchange students, so you can choose the proper level of study for you based on your level here at LiU.
Students are only allowed to take courses from their own level at Hanyang. Students can exceptionally be registered on courses from different a level if they can get a permission from the professor in charge. Exchange students can take courses from different majors and levels, but this offer is limited so Hanyang University informs and advises students to select the study level (Undergraduate/Graduate) and major that offers most of their desired courses.
Hanyang University has two campuses: Seoul Campus and Erica Campus at Ansan (one hour away from Seoul) and both are open for Engineering and Science students. The course offer is rather similar on both campuses.
Campus Erica: known especially for Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Robotics, Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design, and Media Communication. Next to Erica Campus there is a Technopark with about 3 000 companies and Hanyang University tries to find internships among those companies for exchange students.
Campus Hanyang: ranked highly within the areas of Chemical, Electronic and Mechanical.
After applying to Erica Campus, students are NOT allowed to change the campus to Campus Hanyang in Seoul.
Please make a note in your Study Plan which Campus you prefer. The Study Plan needs to be included in your online application.
All schools are open for exchange students but it is not possible to mix courses from different schools.

Note that there are only very few courses available in English at master's level.
Students will not be able to register by themselves. They will need to discuss this with the professor of the course they wish to take and get an approval (signature).
According to local council office and health care center around Hanyang, it is mandatory to have TB (Turberculosis) check certificate from all exchange students who will stay in their accommodation.
